Harry Baweja defended the budget saying that the futuristic look of Mumbai involved a lot of expenditure on special effects. “The futuristic backdrop demanded a lot of special effects and we have employed everything from Video graphics to SFX in the film. Just 5 minutes of special effects cost us 60 lakhs”” he said..

The buzz around the movie is also because Harry is launching his son Harman like Rakesh Roshan launched his son, Hrithik Roshan. But some consider a debut in a science fiction role as difficult.
